| business ideas. Topics will include: validating market need, protecting |
| your intellectual property, working with university technology |
| commercialization offices, choosing a form of business entity, |
| seeking startup capital, and practical lessons learned when starting |
| a nano business. |

| Nanotech Education Workshop: |
| A panel of educators from Utah’s research universities, as well as |
| current graduate and industry representatives, will talk about |
| undergraduate and graduate education in nanoscience and |
| nanotechnology, as well as careers in nanotechnology. Q&A and |
| general discussion will follow the presentation. |
